Topoi scholar Bénédicte Savoy gave an one hour interview for radio Deutschlandfunk about her person and her work as an art historian. The interview was broadcasted in the radio program “Zwischentöne” at November 30, 2014 and is available for five month on www.deutschlandfunk.de.
Bénédicte Savoy is Professor of Art History at the Institute of Art History at the Technische Universität Berlin. Her major interests lie in reception and transformation of ancient spaces in museum contexts and concepts of presentation with the help of models. Furthermore Bénédicte Savoy works on the transfer of art and culture in 18th and 19th century Europe, the history of museums and collections, and on looted art. Within Topoi she is involved in several research groups and projects.
